Dr. Martin Agyei Yeboah, a Plant Breeder, has joined the West Africa Centre for Crop Improvement. Prior to his appointment, Dr. Yeboah was a Vegetable Breeder at the World Vegetable Centre (AVRDC) - Regional Centre for Africa in Madagascar. At AVRDC, Dr. Yeboah was a team member of the Vegetable Breeding and Seed Systems project funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. His PhD research was on “Genetic inheritance and preliminary mapping of QTLs associated with waterlogging tolerance of cucumber” at the University of Yanghou, The Peoples’ Republic of China.
